I had just started my export business and registered for free account on few websites, with a hope that it would help me in reaching buyers. From second day itself a guy Mr. Jain called me up and asked to take platinum membership. He enumerated a no. of benefits viz:
-Generate numerous trade enquiries every day for your company listed at website.
-High Visibility of your Company and Product/Service offered by you.
-Custom designed dedicated website for my company.
-Fastest access to various opportunities appearing in Internet every minute.
-Customer care support on day to day basis where I would be contacted every day and would be supplied with trade inquiries.
Somehow with numerous calls (from a guy call Mr. Vikas Jain) and severe persuasion, I was convinced to give it a try. He offered me platinum membership at Rs. 14000 for one year with a lot more small benefits like extra credits to buy purchase offers, personal follow up of every business call, etc.
Once I made the payment, he started annoying me everyday to extend the plan for 3 years. When his torment attained its extreme, I started avoiding his calls. With regards to promises and commitments he made, here is what I received.:
-Many trade enquiries generated buy on replying them, there was no reply from other side. Not even acknowledgement of my messages. On investigating further, I found that those companies are bogus and fake.
-They took them 3 months to build a website with basic details. We had no authority to make changes to the website and for every minute amendment, we had to contact EXPORTERS INDIA. They take their own convenient time and effort to implement the changes.
I asked them to hand over the domain to us, since we had paid a huge amount for it, though the amount also accounted for the GENUINE trade inquiries we were supposed to get.
-Most of the trade inquires they display on their site are bogus and do not lead to any business, not even any communication.
-Not a single person has contacted our company till date bearing a trade inquiry, though it was committed on day to day basis.
In short, after paying the amount, no one has ever contacted us from Exportersindia and all the trade inquiries we tried to pursue were fake.
