Bad practice of holding customers money.

I booked beach hut hotel in South Goa on thru site https://ezeecloud.com. They booked a beach hut in H20 beach hut in Agonda beach Goa and sent me the confirmation email. They took 18000/- in advance and the booking details are: Reference No: HSV020013007481600001 dated 25th Nov 2013.


But after 2 days they informed me that the booking got cancel due to unavailability of room. How come they have booked and took money from me, when they are not sure of availability. Anyway, I was upset but agreed to it and requested them to refund my money.


Then they replied that as per their policy it will take 15 days for refund, which is absurd, I do not know why 15 days I have to wait for my money that’s too when it was not my fault for this cancellation. Anyway, I waited and then on 15th day I did lot of chasing and they shoot an email that they have cancelled it officially today, and I have to wait for 10-15 working days.


On this I told them if they do not pay me by next 2-3 days, I will go to consumer court, and finally I got the refund on 22nd day that is on 17th of Dec. So they are fooling people and just using no interest money from customer which is a fraud.
