Is Ezeego a scam?

I happened to buy 2 tickets on ezeego since they had a promotional offer with SBI cards. I now rue the fact that I booked my ticket through them.


The tickets were booked through their website and that is the easiest and the better part. Unfortunately the name of the passenger was miss spelt and I wanted to rectify the same. Additionally I don’t know whether I should expect a paper ticket to be dispatched or is the printout of the Ezeego itnerary good enough for travel. That was when my ordeal began and is still continuing.




  1. Tried their call center number a number of times. Could not get through after holding for one aprox hour on each try.




  2. I must have spend close to 200 - 300 Rs caling their GSM number.




  3. Wrote 3 times in feedback and 5 times in enquiry. Still no reply.




  4. Left message for callback 4 times, no callbacks.




  5. Left a fake message requesting to buy 5 tickets to London expecting them to call back on sniffing a good business deal. Still no callbacks.




  6. The only positive thing was that I got the cashback as promised on the SBI card.






How the travelers board the plane if the name is not matching on the photo I-card and e-ticket? I just am hoping that the security will allow my relatives to board the plane as the spelling mistake is superficial and they are old ladies above 70 years of age. I just hope that they are not harassed for ezeego’s lackadaisical attitude.


I hope ezeego is reading this and also I request respected credit card companies like SBI and others not to team up with such agencies. I recently saw an ad wherein ICICI was offering some cashbacks on tickets purchased through Ezeego. I implore ICICI customers not to fall in the trap!
