I had booked a ticket on Ezeego1 today details of which are as below:
Date of booking: 4th October 09
Date of travel: 5th October 09
Travel from: Hyderabad - Bangalore
Airline: SpiceJet
Booking Reference No: EZR-2009-570225/A
Ticket Price: Rs. 7664
I wanted this ticket urgently and after surfing through a couple of other websites, I found this to be the best available rate for the required date. I had booked on ezeego1 umpteen times earlier also and never really faced any problem. This time however, after the ticket was booked and payment was also made from my ICICI Credit Card, I could not print the e-ticket. The website said "Your booking has failed".
When I called up their Call Centre, they simply told me that there are no more seats available on the concerned flight and hence they could not book the ticket. When I asked them about payment confirmation they said that the charges would be reverted in another 2-3 working days. Unfortunately all the other tickets on all other airlines were at least Rs. 2000 costlier than the ticket in concern.
My only grudge is that it is just not fair to keep ur customers in any illusion. I understand that ticket availability is quite dynamic in nature. But at least at the time of payment it should be thoroughly checked whether the ticket is available or not.
I sincerely hope that my dues are reverted back to my Credit Card within the given time frame. Also, when I talked to customer care executive and asked her if she could accomodate me on any other flight at any discounted rate, she rudely told me that there are many such booking errors in a single day and she cannot accomodate anybody and everybody for these kind of errors by their website.
I do hope that such glitches and on top of it, such rude behaviour is immediately addressed by ezeego1 management and their team.
