On 6th March as I was surfing to book some kerala tickets, I came across this 75% cashback scheme on ezeego1 on spicejet flights for tickets booked before 15th March & travel ended before 15th April. As I was looking to trip between 3rd & 12th April, this was just right for me. I re-confirmed with an ezeego1 official on phone and made my booking right away. My booking id: EZR2009-129409/A. We were 4-5 colleagues in my office who clearly read the T&C and I went ahead with the booking.(I have booked with ezeego1 before and was therefore over confident that nothing would go wrong.) Unfortunately, more than a month later, when I contacted Ezeego1 early this week, I was coolly told by their call center that the offer prevalent on 6th march was valid only on tickets booked before 3rd April. RUDE SHOCK! I repeatedly told them that this was not so and I had clearly read the T&C time and time over again before booking. I was told to write to complaints@ezeego1 and I am yet to get any reply from them. I was told that I will be contacted today(25th April) after 11am, but no one has called me either. I am hoping someone is looking into this issue as I feel truly cheated and stupid for just trusting what I saw. I dont know if I will book with ezeego again - will I have to take all offers in writing before booking?
May 1: On Apr 27th, I was contacted by Pallavi Garud, a truly customer centric executive of ezeego1. She confirmed to me that the cashback would be processed and it has been processed. I would like to sincerely thank her for her call and action. I have therefore upgraded my product review rating. While the call center of ezeego1 really needs to be trained better to hande complaints, I would like to say that I would use ezeego1 again in future,
