I purchased a Compaq 6604AU laptop from Ezone on saturday 5th of Jan. The technician there partioned my disc space and instructed me to take a recovery CD ASAP. Reaching home I tried taking the recovery but I get a prompt saying that the recovery partition has been deleted. I took the laptop to Ezone but they washed their hands off saying they cant do anything and that I need to contact HP for the matter.
My question here is 2 folded - Why should I take the trouble of taking a newly purchased laptop when the techinician at Ezone faulted. 2nd What kind of service resonse is it to ask a customer to go to HP when I actually bought the laptop from the store & not directly from HP.
After this I have tried reaching HP umpteen number of times but all I get was to be placed on hold for the next 10 minutes.
Ezone is pathetic & I strongly encourage people not to buy any products from Ezone
