We all living in metro cities are victims of stressful, fast paced life. Hardly do we manage to find time for ourselves and family members; forget about the exercise. And cooking? Strictly no-no for a lethargic like me. Once home, I cant do anything but to watch TV, eat or sleep. And when mother is not home, I prefer getting home delivery from the fastest delivery food outlet Faasos.
Yes, its true what you just read. Delivery of Faasos is faster than Dominos also. It hardly takes 20 min from the moment of order till the knock at your door.
Compared to other fast food chains that deliver at home, faasos is much healthier option. Faasos allow customization of your order. For a regular junkie like me, they have a preferable option of wheat base. And it is tasty too.
Their veg as well as non veg menu are worth a try. Being a core non-veg lover, Chicken Bhuna is my favourite. When my tongue slurps for some tango, I order spicy Chicken Barbeque. Apart from wraps they also serve biryani which is strictly OK. I prefer not to spend too much, thus, never tried their combos, beverages and more expensive dishes.
Faasos outlets are small usually not suitable for dine-in. Hence, I prefer home delivery or pickup over dine in at faasos outlet.
Their App is also nice, and once contact details are entered, for the next order one just has to select the items, customise it and place order.
However, there are few things I diskliked about their service. Everytime after placing the order through app, they call up for directions to my house. Of what use is the address and landmark when one has to guide them every time? They should make use of GPS system of user to get the exact location of the consumer or ask their delivery men to mark the location and make special notes while delivering for the first time. Another thing I did not like was their delivery men handing a bill having some phone number written over it and asking to give a miss call without telling what the miss call is for. I asked him once, and he failed to satiate my me with info. By the way, for your info, if you give a miss call on that number, their system would register it as a satisfactory response for Faasos food and delivery. They message it quite late.
There is also a wallet in their app which you can preload with money and make orders without worrying for the cash payment or chutta(change). For obvious reasons, I did not try it. Let me know if you have ever used that feature in their app.
Another problem with their app is that it cannot be used without internet. If I dont have my datapack active and I want to order on phone, I neither can get their phone number nor view their menu. Oops! Faasos, you just loose an order in such situation.
Apart from the mentioned shortcomings, their service and food are fabulous. The wraps are moderately priced but expensive then shawarma which is very famous in Mahim and available at 2/3rd to 1/2 the price of wrap depending on which one you order. However, nobody gives home delivery for shawarma and that is were Faasos triumps.
Faasos also come out with offers regularly which I find irresistible.
Another noteworthy thing about their service is the packing of wraps. It is really nicely packed with a box with tissue papers, ketchup, etc. But it is not wrapped in aluminium foil and so should eaten immediately to enjoy the freshness.
They take home delivery orders till 11 pm, and remain open for pick up and dine-in till 1 am. I wish if they could increase their delivery time upto 1 am, atleast for weekends, because it is the time when my tummy starts rumbling really.
An average cost for two normal persons without any offer would be Rs 250 approximately. Beware, taxes are extra!
