It has not been a year since I purchased a Faber Chimney - Hood Tratto 90 LTW BF Sunzi for Rs 17800 and the glass got shattered completely one night. We woke up with the glass spread all over the kitchen floor. The customer service is really useless and only after repeated follow-ups the service engineer came to the house to check the damage. Again another series of follow-ups and the service center tells me that the customer needs to pay the cost(Rs 7800) of replacing the glass, which is nearly 50% of the cost of the chimney. On top of that, it will take another 2-3 weeks to procure and replace the glass.
Faber has found a convenient way to cheat customers by giving a sub standard glass with the chimney, which gets broken every year and the company charges 50% of the chimney cost to replace the glass. Very convenient way to earn revenue.
Avoid going for Faber Chimneys.
