Please be aware of Oxygem chimaney, they are thugs..I recently bought a chimeny Oxy2063-60. The dealer( M/S Jyoti Gas Agency Nigdi) started with Price of Rs14500/- after bargining settled on Rs11500/-. I patted on my back for a good deal, but later I came to know that it’s price was Rs.10750/- ( God knows it may be less than that.
Installation ( they come to loot you..)Intially I was told the installation charges are Rs380+ cost of PVC pipes and bends joints( aprroximate Rs.300-400). The guy who came for installation told he requires 140MM ( 5 inches) PVC pipe @ 8 Feet + 2 bend.4 inch pipe will not work because chimney will create noise.
The cost of pipe was told to be Rs100/feet + 2 bends ( Rs 200 each )+...Being myself a plastic engineer , I could not accept this price and decided to get it my self. The same is available in the market at Rs28/feet. They prefer 5 inches becuase you can not get it easily in the market.( The shop they will recommend will tell you price of Rs.110/feet )
During installation it asked for charges of Rs.250 just to cut the hood.I relaised I have made mistake of my life to go to these thugs to buy a chimey , I don’t know how long it is going to work and their service if this is the start...
