Whenever we go out of city, we select chain hotel for the stay, because of its famous brand name & services. With same expectation, when I had went to New Delhi I chose Fabhotel Raj - Paharganj - New Delhi, but, the service which I received was not expected. We made a booking from online travel portal, but, when we reached to the hotel with booking confirmation voucher, they just denied to provide check in to us, but, when we contacted to its customer support they provided check in to us. Rooms which was provided was not as shown on online travel portal, but, when contacted front desk of the hotel they just denied from it.
From above scenario you could enjoy, they didnt apologised for the inconvenience caused to me and there rooms service emplyees do has basic etiquette to knock while entering room. In meals we only had breakfast which was not much tasty and presentation were OK. Hotel is about one killo meter from Delhi Railway station, Connaught Place is 2 KM, Jantar Mantar is 3 KM, Ugrasen ki Baoli 3 KM, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib 3 KM, India Gate is 5 km, Jama Masjid 6 KM and Red Fort is 6 Km from hotel and can be visited during the stay. But, ambience inside of hotel is not fruitful which will make us to not live in the hotel.
In total service was provided was for value for money, but, when I think about for inconvenience caused while check in it was much more costlier for me. Totally it was wothless for me.
