FabIndia products are not worth buying online

I used to buy clothes at FabIndia stores and the cloth, colour was pretty good. Though, after many wash, the colour doesn’t fades. Tussar and cotton kurtis are our favourite. With very good experience at store and lack of time, I ordered few at online.  The colour of the cloth shown on the display online is totally different from the product which I received. The cloth was very delicate and pale in colour.

Once I ordered an anarkali which costs around Rs. 2500/-. I was expecting the dress for quite some time.(ofcourse, I was able to track my order in amarex) Finally I received my dress. Curiously, I opened the parcel and was at great disappointment. When I showed the anarkali to my cousin, she asked whether it was bought 5 years back. It looked that old. I couldn’t replace the product, because the customer will have to courier on their own:(

Despite, I bought another kurthi, in which the cloth was too thick like jute and the button broke too early. Finally, I ordered a dupatta, though the colour was a mild, it was 100% cotton and loved wearing it.

On the whole, online shopping at Fabindia was worthless. However, loved buying at stores.
