Unfold the Drama with a fluttering eye, see it with a Gasping Mouth and dont let it fly in ur mouth
The inside Out :-
And the Oscar goes to... Nicolas Cage. He is probably the best actor weve got today. Sure, Tom Hanks can play a mentally challenged kid, John Travolta always plays a psycho well, but Nicolas Cage has them all beat. In this film, hes a real bad boy who finally gets caught by FBI agent Travolta and ends up in a coma.
The story doesnt end here though, because Cage has hidden a bomb that only his imprisoned brother knows where it is. So, as per the first and one of the best trailers ever, Travolta has Cages face surgically removed and swapped out with his. Now, its just gruesome enough where you can watch that sequence. Dont look away because, its kinda cool. (listen for this line from Cage.) Travolta posses as Cage in prison to get the info from his brother. Its a chilling performance.
What;s more in Store???......Im not gonna tell you the rest of the story because you know that Cage wakes up and gets to wear Travoltas face, and then live his life. No doubt about it, Travolta is good. Hes very good. But watch Cages face and smile. Especially when he suddenly remembers that hes supposed to be playing a good guy. You can tell by his sick smile whats going on in his head. His performance is amazing.
And Ugh..this is a pain in the movie line ....Couple of things to think about though: Joan Allen as Travoltas wife? Are you kidding me? This is the woman that portrayed Pat Nixon. Nixon! This was that scrawny woman married to Tricky Dick. She slept with him! Do you really think that John Travolta would ever sleep with Pat Nixon? I think not. Bad casting. Shes a fine actress, but shes no box of chocolates.
Gotcha watch this for the best is here :PP:-
~...In the film, Travolta has a very rebellious daughter, who has a discipline problem. When Cage returns to that house with Travoltas face, all the sequences between him and the girl are wonderful. Especially when the girls boyfriend tries to go a little too far in his car one day.
Hit the restroom after this scene.
~It always amazes me how there can be so much shooting in a film where the good guy, (or guys in this place) never get shot. But...it keeps our attention. Director John Woo did a wonderful job with tying in the story with all the shoot-em up action. Its rather poetic.
Watch Out for this :--
~there was one too many so-called chase scenes. Youll know which one it is because it looks like it belongs in that piece of crap, Speed 2.
P.S.{ Dont miss on This movie it is ....} All in all, the film works very well, not only because of the chemistry between Travolta and Cage, but because their acting abilities are the best in the business. Dont miss it..and if u did miss it now run for it :-)
