Facebook lite is a toned down app of the original Facebook application. This app is specifically for those mobile phones which have very weak performance. The app focuses on low battery and performance consumption but compromises on many features, the original Facebook app provides. Also the app size is pretty less being around 5 mb which is very much less when compared to the original Facebook app.
