Been with Facebook for over 5 yrs until I deleted the account in 2014 may.
Reasons -
1) People dont understand what is Friendship and what does it actually mean!
2) Only Girls, flirt and beauty is of utmost importance. Girls who posts "Hi" will get over 100 likes. even posts with silly joke get past 1000 likes. But if u r a man and in need of help or in depressed state, will never get any response.! I guess Phone calls were better than this!
3) No privacy at all. And even for Folk messages, some take it seriously and attack you!
4) For Photos and posts, only ’Like’ feature available. I would have loved it if Facebook had a "Dislike" feature. Damn u !
5) And above all that, I really realized that, to me personally, Facebook is just a another website like Wikipedia. Go there, read the info and walk out.
6) Example - I had a two lady friends there on Facebook. I used to help them a lot and behaved with them nicely all time when I used meet them personally.
But One of them blocked me on Facebook and would never talk to me the next day because I messaged on a photo "wow you r beautiful"!. But though she is engaged with a person, she was close with another person(other than me)! And another one, she unfriend me becoz I did not send her the photos I took with my camera related(Group photos)! Silly b.
Lots of Selfish people here on FB. Therefore, just like the first Junkyard "orkut", I threw away "Facebook" too.
Just like someone else mentioned before, Whatsapp and even the old methods "Phone calling and messaging" are the best .
Its True - Old is Gold.
