Facebook is no doubt best social-networking-site for chatting and sharing status. But I also loved Orkut and liked to use it almost every day when it was available.
I feel sad that now a days there is no existence of Orkut. I used Orkut more than facebook on 2009-10. Orkut was associated with good account and it was somehow similar to facebook.
Orkut had a notification bar like facebook where we could see picture uploads and status of our friend. But Facebook has news feeds too which is more attractive and vivid for reading status and viewing pictures. There is’tag’ option available in facebook which was unavailable in Orkut.
While the colour of Orkut was pink/red, Facebook is blue. Google+ is good alternative of Orkut but facebook is much improved than Orkut.
There is private message option in Facebook and we can also send photos to a friend’s inbox which was not available in Orkut. But considering to old time Orkut was also a featured social-networking-site.
