I bought this for my sweet cousin, who is 11, There also haven’t been any issues with the binding, and this is her favorite of the things I’ve given her in the past couple of months, and has declared it to be quite awesome.
She says she loves the range of topics this book covers, and that the text appears in a lot of bubble boxes rather than paragraphs. She also says she really likes the way the pages are laid out with the background colors, and she really likes that some of the pages are different colors.
She’s willing to read paragraphs, but she is at a stage where she finds it more engaging to have the text broken up some. So basically, she loves the visual layout and finds it more interesting to look at for that reason. v
