Fahrenheit 9/11 is a documentary movie that was written, produced and directed by Michael Moore, this year.

It was made to show that so many people the Senate and Congress, of the United States, didn’t understand what laws they were voting for.

.:The Plot:.

The movie starts out with the Presidential Election, of 2000, where Al Gore won, yet George Bush became President.

The plot is about how President Bush and his Government, used these tragic events to get the people of the U.S.A. to agree to go to war against Saddam Hussain.

Canada did not believe President Bush or Prime Minister Blair, and I am ashamed to say I did, until, last week the Commission that investigated 9/11 said that Iraq had nothing to do with the airplanes crashing into the two Towers and the Pentagon.

Moore believes that President Bush wanted to finish his Father’s War. He forgot about the terrorists, like Osama Bin Landin, Iran and North Korea.

.:What Was Tragic To Me:.

There is a clip of when President Bush, hears of the attack, on September 11th, 2001. He was at a kindergarten, at the time. His face never changes. He doesn’t looked stunned, upset, mad or look like he even cares.

Flint Lipscomb, died in Iraq, when the Blackhawk Helicopter he was in was shot down. His mother, Lila, is so upset about his death, she changes her mind about the War.

.:Interesting:.

Walt Disney Company wouldn’t allow their Miramax Films unit to distribute the controversial Michael Moore documentary ’’Fahrenheit 9/11, ’’ Miramax co-Chairmen Harvey and Bob Weinstein paid $6 million for the rights to distribute this movie. The last time I looked this movie has made over $100 million dollars. That is only counting what it made when it was shown in the Theaters. 60% of the money made on this film, will be donated to charity.

.:Awards:.

This movie won the Palme D’Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival, (this year).

.:Michael Moore:.

The only other movie I saw that he made was Bowling for Columbine, (2002).

.:My Thoughts:.

If you didn’t see this film you should. You can rent it or the day before the election in the U.S.A., see it on Pay For View TV.

It will only take 2 hours to see how some Americans feel.
