I did use this product once. it was about 3 years ago. it was when I was done with school and had just started college. and I DID become fair.
But it could have been many diferent thing. I stopped playing in the sun since school was done, I spent more time indoors with lectures and lab sessions...or maybe it was all about the cream.
I wasnt "dark" exactly but I wasnt fair either. it never bothered me at all...if it had, then I wouldnt have spent that much time in the sun now, wud i?
I dont knw why I bought that tube that day. I just did. and I used it properly till the tube was empty and never bought another one since. and the color I gained never left either. My mother is fair, so maybe it was underneath there somewhere all the time.
But like someone said previously, I got comments. it was a NOTICEABLE change, so maybe it does work. I personally think it does. coz I know others who got results. But thats not why im writing. I was pleased to see so many comments at the skin color controversy. I TOTALLY agree, skin color doesnt matter at ALL.
But society in Asia does value fair skin, more so among women. its not just the guys who want it, but more than them the WOMEN want fair skinned brides for their sons. Those in UK and US might say "tats so silly, skin color doesnt matter in marriage" but its the same thing happening there in the US between "blacks" and "whites".
The so calld "blacks" STILL face discrmnation...even little children are bullied by peers. its almost the same situation but different rules and maybe not as severe. Its happening around the globe. now our generation is talking back, realizing the truth. but wht about the next gen? they are growing up watching ads where the dark girl tries for a job, then she becomes fair and THEN she gets the job BECAUSE shes fair.
Its no more about just marriages, its job selection, attention getters....and its NOT TRUE. ppl are NOT going to hire you just coz ur fair or coz ur pretty or anything. the worlds changing, and its BRAINS that matter. and appearances too, but NOT ur skin, the way you dress, talk, etc. But the kids dont know tht. when they grow up their criteria for EVERYTHING is going to be color.....where will society end up then...
