Fame Gurukul is aimed at finding a couple who can sing as well as perform on stage. I think the effort put on by the faculty, headed by Ila Arun is really commendable in polishing the skills and performance.
Arijit sounds great, hope he does another Abhijeet Sawant. Mandira & Manav add to the charm of the show. Judges - Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan & KK are all stalwarts and have been very fair.
However, some finalists seem to have made by sheer luck, like Qazi. No doubt he is a good performer but singing wise, he doesn’t come upto the mark in this level. I seriously doubt if he would have even qualified in Saregamapa of Zee TV.
I must congratulate sony for taking such an effort to search, fine tune and showcase talent. I also compliment for the effort taken in promoting the ultimate winners.
Recommend all the music lovers and learners to watch the show. Music followers can not only hear good music but judges critic, points and tips can aid any music learner.
