It was nice to see that SRK can still give good performances when you cast him in age appropriate roles. Overall, it was a fun enough movie.It is a classic revenge story, and when I watched it, it played exactly as I had expected it to. A little bit long, though, and the first half dragged a little.
I feel like if they had done away with some of the story part from the first half, it would have still been the same movie. But, the one thing you cannot deny is the crazy level of Gaurav in this movie, you know, the titular’Fan’. He goes from worshiping Aryan to hating his guts in a flash.
After the intermission, they kind of made him really clever without any explanation, which was a bit strange to me. But, anyway, I’d say go watch the movie because it is different from all other Bollywood crap out there, and the action is actually good, a bit over the top, but good. Also, SRK’s best performance in a really long time, if you ask me.
