Well Fanaa is a step forward of Indian Cinema , the cinematography of the movie is one of the highest point , the acting caliber is another point which definetly doesn’t dissapoint .
Story :
It’s about Zooni who comes to New Delhi for a stage performance for the 26th January program , her parents very protective for Zooni as she is blind , while her tour in Delhi she fells in love with Rehaan a tourist guide for the 1st half an hour its all about sher or shayari , then there is romance then Zooni goes to a hospital for her eye check up and tells Rehaan to pick her parents up , while her check up is successfull she comes to realise that there was a bomblast which killed Rehaan , as never seen Rehaan she cries in pain , sorrow and disbelief . Then they show Aamir , in a Dil Chahta hai kinda outfit except there is no goatee and there are specs on . Aamir is a terrorist who had a mission in New Delhi under the instruction of his grandfather , Their aim Aazadi of Kashmir from all . Then you expect a roller coaster in the second half as it is the Time of Interval . While I can’t reveal the second half as it would reveal the story but the second half dissapoints and the movie becomes quite slow and is completley different then you ever imagined.
Music :
My favourite is Chaand Sifarish , but the timing of the song unlike 36 china town are very correct and never lets down , Des Rangeela is an odd one out but the timing is quite good , Chaand Chamke and Mere haath mein come in a terrific timing and are pleasurable one of the plus point in Mere haath mein is the Cinematography of the song and its one of the highest point of the entire movie.
Acting -
10/10 in this department , its as all of us know is the comback movie of Kajol , she does not dissapoint at all , her performance ( Not hurting Aamir’s fans ) almost overshadows Aamir’s performance . Her role as a blind is terrific , her looks are defined as GORGEOUS which she looks in the entire movie . If Kajol’s performance are excellent its unfair to say Aamir’s performance Sucks ! It actually rocks but Kajol wins by inch . Aamir potrays almost 3 different Shades a flirt , a lover boy and a terrorist with negative thoughts and expressions on which I was eagerly waiting to see but those thoughts and expressions last for around 15 minutes and then back to normal . Aamir I think should loose some weight for this movie and if he did he would look smart and handsome but he looks kinda old in the long hair , the short hair really suited him. Rishi Kapoor and Kiron Kher are quite good , Tabu’s appearance is almost negligible just like the special appearance made by Lara Dutta and Shiny Ahuja.
Overall
Well Kunal Kohli has made a good movie on an intresting topic but if the second half would just could be better and normal as everyone wanted it to be then Fanaa could be much better but then also the movie is excellent , a must watch and definetly a hit.
