I have read all reviews written on Fanaa but after seeing the movie myself I could not resist writing my review.

Fanaa means destroyed in Love. The movie is a love story starring Aamir Khan as Rehan Qadri & Kajol as Zooni Ali Beg.
Love is mighty as lovers can do the impossible.
Besides these two as lead other stars include Rishi Kapoor, Kirron Kher and Tabu.
The movie is directed by Kunal Kohali and produced by Aditya Chopra.
The movie has nice songs too.
Zooni, though a blind girl decides to venture out leaving the safe confines of her home in Kashmir. She comes to Delhi with her friends to participate in the annual Republic day function. In Delhi, Zooni meets tour guide Rehan & falls in love. Rehan is also attracted to Zooni.
Soon they decide to get married and then Zonni undergoes an eye operation and gets her eyesight back. After the successful eye operation Zooni gets to know that Rehan has been killed in a terrorist bomb attack in Delhi.
Zooni returns to Kashmir to be with her mother Nafisa & father Zulfi.
Rehan appears back on screen after a long interval with a different look particularly a different haircut and as an agent working for IKF.
During one of his missions for the IKF where he is required to deliver a trigger, Rehan gets badly injured and lands up at Zooni’s house. By this time Zooni also has a son.
Kajol & Aamir have done a fantastic job with their acting. Aamir would have looked much better if he had lost a few kilos before acting in this movie. The movie has maintained its fans expectations and has made Fanaa watchable. Both of them rise above the limitation of the script.
The photography is excellent too. The movie has beautiful snowy landscapes in the second half, Lodhi garden, Dargah of Nizamuddin & others which makes it a treat to the eyes.
The story is somewhat weak especially with the gun battle, crashing choppers etc.
The performance of Zooni’s son Rehan is excellent. Her son innocently calling Rehan a dead man makes every one smile. He is such a lovable boy who acts well too.
You can finally say that one should not expect too much from the movie but surely it is worth your time and time and you would surely enjoy watching it once.
