Blatant plagiarism

Everybody who has watched this film or written reviews have praised the film’s storyline and plot. However, the plot is very nicely and cleverly stolen from a novel by Ken Follet, " Eye of the needle" which was also made into an english movie with the same name. The backdrop of Second World War has been cleverly modified to modern day terrorism, a widow, a past lover and rest of the situations and the plot are exactly the same as in the movie / book, Eye of the Needle.

Is this the case of Inspiration or Blatant Plagiarism ?

On the positive side, the acting of the lead star cast, the locales and the music is very good. Amir Khan as usual has slipped into the role quite exceptionally and the movie can be watched just for him alone. Kajol’s performance has also been fantastic. The locales have been selected quite nicely and the picturisation is excellent. Music is the highlight of the movie and almost all the songs are hummable. Overall, the movie is worth watching.
