Fanaa is a love story that was written as a love story , directed as a love story and acted like a love story!so don’t try to "brain" it a lot!u will just loose the joy of the watch!
fanaa belongs to none other than the talented aamir and kajol, who both delivred an oscar worthy performance , and i’m not overreacting, it’s just simply the truth!
kajol plays zooni with such a class and natural act , she prooved that she is another class of actors, she reached, today, with fanaa a place that no other actress can even reach or come close.she is a smashing power and she looks breathtaking!
aamir plays rehan, though it’s an unusuel role , that many bollywood actors would turn down(nobody wants to play the antihero any more), he makes it real to the core , u follow him through the whole process and transition of his caracter , u hate him and u love him at the same time !aamir now is the master of acting , no one can dare denying it !
the chemestry between kajol and aamir was terriffic , kajol matches aamir like the sun matches the sky, every act , every word , every silence was like a star delighting the darkest frame of the screen!don’t ask why they didn’t come together before, but thank the destiny that they come together today with a maturity that leave u stuned!an award for best jodi of the year2006 will be simply fair !but we are waiting for the best jodi of the centry, few years later!
all the other actors were efficient , but tabu seemed cold!
the music of fanaa is beautiful and the videos make it just better:a high note to dekho na , kunal managed to control the little space of the shote with ease and close-ups of the two leading actors were fantastic.however, it’s mere haath me that steals the show, it was simlpy superb, and it will be fair to say that it’s now the reference for any romantic song(the reference was for a long time suraj hua madham of k3j).
the script of fanaa was not flawless , but when u watch aamir and kajol u forget and u forgive!
beautifuly shot, fanaa makes u following the journey of two lovers who mayebe deserved their part of happiness so they knocked the heaven’s door, but another destiny has been writted for them!
So go see fanaa once for kajol, twice for aamir, a third time for kajoland aamir, and go see it again and again for all those reasons!
PS:for those who exceel in analysing the minus points of the film , i have to say that u just missed the true essence of fanaa, love performed by the best actors bollywood have today, kajol and aamir!
