PLOT:
A Terrorists group steals a nuclear warhead and the only thing that they need to destroy some city in INDIA or PAKISTAN (or make both the government oblige to their condition) is the trigger.One of thier Intelligent men takes it from the army and on his way to the camp. The only thing that stands in between him and his mission is ....... KAJOL
This is probably my least favourite YASH RAJ MOVIE in recent years(Of course excluding Neal’n’Nikki which I never considered as a movie).Having said this , this movie is not a complete downer too.. Somehow it works to a level.Well by now if u have not found out who the terrorist is .. may be u shouldnt try this movie at all.Aamir is on his way to the camp before he is stopped and (destroyed in love ) by Kajol.
This movie could’ve been a brilliant action - Thriller on any given day but making a love story of this one? may be the idea sounds interesting... but on screen it lacks something.The movie starts off with beautiful locales and gr8 background score...the characters are revealed and a couple of good songs and Aamir falls in love with the blind Kajol and etc.Aamir makes her undergo eye operation and guess what she gets vision. When she opens her eye her love Aamir is no longer to be found.She comes to know through his items that he is dead because of a bomb blast.Then Aamir’s real side comes to the foreground showing him responsible for the bomb blast..and stuff. Then seven years later while getting away with the trigger from the army he is shot and goes away into the snow where he knocks the only house which has Kajol in it.
Kajol along with her son and father helps Aamir without knowing his both identities... later recognises as her love and the near the climax as the terrorist...And what happens next forms the emotional climax.
This movie has its pros & cons. The music , the performances, cinematography, locales, plot, a few brilliantly executed sequences are its +ves. The slow pacing, a very slow second half (nothing much happens here), copied action sequences, Dumb graphics..etc. The first half of movie moves through Shayari which is interesting but not always.
I wonder why Jatin-Lalit wants to split. This is one of their best works ever!. Acting wise Kajol is back with a bang ...She delivers a knock out performance.. Aamir does what he always does..a perfect job.Rest gets a little to do. Writing is the part of the movie which falters (upto some extent).WITH ALL THIS SAID IT REALLY DOESNT MATTER... THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS WHETHER U LIKE IT OR NOT. IF U WANNA MAKE SURE IT IS WORTH IT...... READ A LOT OF REVIEWS THEN DECIDE...THIS REVIEW IS ONLY MY OPINION.
P.S:
The one thing I loved abt the movie is the trailers that they showed KANK & KABUL EXPRESS. Both of them looked awesome.
