I was eagerly waiting for the arrival of FANAA and this album is worth my wait.With expectations touching the sky, FANAA truly and easily surpasses it.Jatin-Lalit have spun a magical web this time with their ’’sui generis’’ music which is going to allure every music lover.
Album begins with ’Chand Sifarish’ thus giving you an impression that this album is no less than extraordinary.With ethnic kashmiri music and great beats, this song is surely going to climb peaks of popularity and stay there for many more months to come.Shaan and Kailash rock in the song.’Mere Haath Mein’ is the next song and it depicts true picture of Kashmir; the ambience in valleys, the calmness of surrondings.
Another great number.But the real treat is ’Dekho Na’ embellished with poetic lyrics,
accompanied withh great singing and garnished with superb music.’Des Rangila’ is okay as compared to other songs but ’Chanda Chamke’ is redeeming factor for it.A truly wonderful song with Kajol and Aamir crooning some great one-liners , this song is surely going to be a HIT amongst kids. ’Remix ’ is also good.
It’s sad that this could be last album by Jatin-Lalit, but this is their most pure and pristine score and what a way to bid adieu with FANAA.This album is surely going to give sleepless nights to Resh’maiyyas’ , Pritams, Anu Maliks.Infact, I hope that they learn something from this album and refrain themselves from giving such crap music which they are giving nowadays.
Last but not the Least, A REQUEST to KARAN JOHAR(hope u r reading this):Please take Jatin-Lalit in all your films, b’coz ur films are incomplete without their music.
