Yup! That’s the USP of the film. The sexy Jessica Alba flaunting her stuff, while the story sorts itself out.
The special effects are amazing, but the plot is extremely weak. The movie is all about graphics and action, nothing about acting. Did I mention Jessica?
I don’t really see why they had to bring in the silver surfer as a bad guy. As far as I remember, silver surfer was always a good guy.
The ending of the movie was a bit of a let-down. Usually, the ending is the climax, where you see the best special effects, and the best action. But since the movie is full of it, you’re soo used to it, that the end doesn’t seem anything khaas.
Also, they haven’t added any new dimensions to the characters of the fantastic four. That makes it a wee bit boring, cos if you’ve seen part 1, you already know almost everything there is to know about them.
The romance between Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman should have had a lot more chemistry (and that does not mean making out). It was too platonic for the plans they made (starting a family, leaving the 4, etc.)
