I am afraid ! I recently went through mental torture vis-a-vis Deepak Tijoris fareb .
This is one of the most horrible movie made in the history of Hindi Cinema .I am afraid to tell you about the film ! It is more frightful than any horror movies !!
Fareb is yet another attempt by our Bhiku Matre to turn into heroe and in the process he comes across as a looser .
Manoj Bajpai repeats the mistake in Fareb by choosing the role of a creative director of an ad agency. He plays Aditya here. Shilpa plays a softer role. She plays Neha, a medical practitioner by profession, and is happy with her small and sweet family. The triangle of this story is complete with Riya (Shamita) who is married to a corporate biggie . Riyas husband is a client of Adityas ad agency and this gives an opportunity to Riya to meet Aditya. In the very first meeting with Aditya, Riya is smitten by Adityas dark and handsome looks coupled with his creativity at work.
But, there is something more than this creativity that Riya is looking for. She tries to seduce him again and again by her body show and physical assets. In the beginning, Aditya tries to push away Riya, but later falls a prey to her charm. The new relationship brings havoc in the married life of Aditya and Neha. Before Aditya could choose between the two, Riya is found in a pool of blood. The needle of suspicion points to none other than Aditya. The police officer (Kelly Dorji) has no choice but to arrest him. Life for Aditya and Neha becomes a hell. And, everything is noticed by the real criminal behind this.
What happens after that ?
Dont ask ! Because I am afraid !
Writers like Brijesh Jayarajan and Girish Dhamija (who directed commendable Yakeen) have tried very hard to make a usual story line look very different in narration, but after a good start the pace slows down. The film bores you several time .
The another area where film falters is production value which is below mark .None of the other things are worth mentioning ! I am afraid !!
Manoj Bajpai has done so many roles in his career so far, but he still finds it difficult to emote on the screen. Shilpa Shetty is passable .Thanks to Shamitas exposure , the film turns into soft porn .Kelly Dorjee as the cop should be awarded for maintaining a single expression throughout the film.
I am afraid ! I dont want to talk more about this film .Otherwise I may suffer from heart attack !
Ambulance please !!
