An understated natural actor

Farookh Shaikh an Indian actor, philanthropist and a popular television presenter

He is a lawyer from profession.

An humble and innocent man with simplicity towards life.

His films are far away from vulgarity, he was not romantically involved with any of his co-stars.

He can play any roles upto almost perfection and very beautifully.

His first major role was in the 1973 film Garam Hawa

Though I have never seen his all of his movies his best work would be.

Chasme Buddour(1981)

He plays Siddharth Paraskar a very intelligent and matured one, these kinds of roles more suited to him, it’s a beautiful and most sensibly part by any actor, well supported by dipti naval, ravi vaswani, rakesh bedi, saeed jafri

Katha(1983)

Where he plays the role of basu chatterjee, the style, mannerisms truly stands out

In presence of great actor naseeruddin shah, farookh sheikh has truly played his part well

When director sai paranjpe narrated the script to farookh sheikh and he was asked to choose his role, since he already played the goodie goodie role earlier, he preferred the negative one

Kisi se na kehna(1983)

One of the best rocking chemistry with dipti naval, also utpal dutt gave great performances.very good screenplay with sincere act by all

He received the national award for best supporting actor.

He was a popular anchor of show aired on Zee tv where the personal life of celebrities was showcased well.the show ran very well.
