Farscape

John Crichton is an astronaut launched through a worm hole while piloting a shuttle mission. He ends up in another part of the galaxy on a living ship. I suppose this could be a modern day Star Trek, with a hint of Star Wars. There are various creatures encountered on each episode, along with explosions, gun fire, and a touch of passion.

Farscape is done by The Jim Henson Company. The puppeteer’s are very precise, and the makeup is very well done. This show is worth watching every week. If you don’t own the movies, you can catch it on the Sci-Fi channel.

If you didn’t already know, Moya is alive, and navigated by Pilot. Talyn is Moya’s offspring. Talyn was abducted by Crais, a peacekeeper once in alliance with Scorpius (Crichton’s Nemesis). Unlike Moya, Talyn is armed, and will attack as needed. The story has not unfolded enough to understand the fate of Talyn, as Crais is unpredictable.

Now would be the time to catch up before the new episodes resume on June 15.
