A very predictable storyline with nothing new to present to the audience - The world of fashion, rivalry, decaying values, and so on. As if we haven’t had enough of it already! And though the movie says that the characters are purely fictitious, it strangely reminds us of a piece of news from not long ago.
The story is about a small town girl (Priyanka) who dreams to be a supermodel. So our Chandigarh di Kudi fights with her dad, goes to Mumbai, throws aside all middle-class values, does lingerie ads, has a live-in relationship, dates a married man, drinks, smokes and then ends up in a mess. And who better to come to her rescue than her own dad whom she quarrelled with? Family and friends come to her rescue and pull her out of it. The End. Interesting, na?!I know.
My only reason for watching this movie was because it is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. But sadly, he has missed the bulls eye by a few kilometers.
Oh, I almost forgot. All men associated with the fashion industry are shown to be gay!
