2Years of Traumatic experience with Fashionandyou

WOW I’m amazed to see so many bad reviews on fashion and you. I thought I’m the only one facing problems with fashionandyou. I’ve been shopping on this site for over 1 n half yr or may be more and had bought a lots of things. But with every 2nd time that I received my order there were issues. Since I’m a home maker and have a toddler thought online shopping will b convenient. which I was wrong cos if something goes wrong u’ve to go through the trauma of running around with the return n courier. which is a big deal for me. So I never returned anything and wasted a lot n lot of money on FASHIONANDYOU.com!

  1. This was in Dec 2010 had ordered a balloon ten on ten top. which was torn at 4 places. when I asked them to arrange for a return(yes initially they used to arrange for return pickup) they told me to wait for 3 working days and after 3 working days when I called to chk with them they told me they’ve changed the policy and the customer has to send the product back. In spite of arguing they din bother arranging for a pickup which was disappointing(why do we have to do the running around for their mistakes) I just dumped that top in some corner of my wardrobe and continued shopping.

  2. I had ordered Private lives nighty sleeveless n size small. They sent me with sleeves n medium size. After informing them abt this they asked me to click the picture of the nighty 2 images closeup n full length and email it to them. They will verify n see if product is actually wrong.(cant they trust when some one says that the product received is not the same product as ordered)I still kept it n continued shopping thinking since they r new this kinda thing must b happening.

  3. Opel, silver ring wall clock(order# 389968) I received which din come to me as a 1 single clock, came in 3 different pieces the glass, the screws, the body. I still haven’t returned it.

  4. Received 1 pink formal shirt(order # 83171), which the sleeves r so long that it cannot b worn.

  5. catwalk slipper had called for size 38 they sent me 39 again a waste.

  6. lingerie(order #865611, #280898) after calling and checking with them whether its padded or not(i wanted non-padded)they convinced me and said its non padded. I received it after 3 weeks it was padded. with lingerie I had many indecent experiences. I decided not to shop for lingerie anymore on fashionandyou.

  7. Had ordered for some 4 sarees(order #249825) for my mum and this time since the amt was more then 3, 000 thought of paying through net banking. But after a month when I din receive the product I checked with them they said one of the saree is unavailable so they said they will cancel the order. And they never gave me any update whether the money is transferred bk to my act or not I had to keep chasing them for the same. After a few days they paid me bk.

  8. This one is with this Carlton London bag on 30/11/2011(order # 1133629) the bag’s zip was broken and was crumbling. After informing again they told me to send it bk, I picked it and gave it to my maid.

9.This one is the last n recent one had ordered on 4/1/20122. Long sleeves T-shirts for my daughter(order #1279491) they sent me 1 shabby 3/4 pants n t-shirt(it was a set for a child under 1yr) and 1 more t-shirt. This time I had to put my foot down n had to tell fashionandyou ENOUGH its ENOUGH. I called the customer care and took their case and asked them to arrange for a pickup and to refund my money back and cancel my membership. To which they arranged for a pick up, yesterday I called and chkd if they’ve received the product to which they said they received it 2 days bk but they fail to update me wth the same. Anyway waiting for my refund now.


I am fed up and irritated with this whole experience with fashionandyou.


They confirm all my orders and say that u are a valuable customer. But they never give u any credits. Which clearly shows that they are here just to grab n make money. They are not bothered about customers and their satisfaction!
