Since I dont really remember the previous parts of Fast and Furious except for Tokyo Drift, I am not in a position to draw a comparison. And since this space does not require me to be relative in approach, Ill give it a shot.
First and foremost, let me establish that no matter how all the previous sequels to Fast and Furious franchise have been made, this one just cannot be missed!
For those who have seen Tokyo Drift, where our protagonist learns how to drift and of course, masters the act in the end, this movie might prove to go one step further. Although there is no drifting involved here and our leading men already know the art of wreckess driving, it doesnt take away anything from the action.
Fast and Furious 4 is a completely gripping movie, where you will be stretching yourself on your seat in awe of the last daredevil stunt Diesel and Walker pulled out. There are plenty of racing sequences, although the best one I found was inside the tunnel (yes, there is a tunnel and youll love it). The movie also has a small element of suspense, the usual rivalry between our heroes and one crazy driver (Vin Diesel) determined to find the fate of his girl-friend. If I say more, Ill spoil the plot.
However, I do hope that none of you have seen the trailers of this movie. And I highly recommend that in case you see a trailer coming on your TV sets, switch it off.
Probably the ones who make the trailer belong to the Navjot Singh Siddhu clan. They just dont konw when to stop! Someone should tell them the entire idea to create a trailor is to attract the attention of the audience to get them to the movie theatre, not to show them the finest scenes of the movie and spoil the fun of viewing, apart from creating false expectations in the act.
The best part about the movie is that it never loses its pace. Till the end, the movie has its audience wanting for more action and more adventure. To say the least, it does not disappoint!
Happy viewing.
