THIS IS A VERY VERY CUSTOMER UNFRIENDLY SERVICE
My experience today was as below:
I booked Fast Tack Taxi from Anna Nagar to Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering for my son, who was to appear for an exam in that college.
Because of the exam, my son told the driver to take from the shortest / fastest route. The shortest route was through Chennai Bye-Pass(37.9 KMs) as per Google Maps, but he took him through Sriperumbadur & then via Sethupattu(52 Kms). For his petty gain, the driver delayed my son for the exam.
My son was constantly in touch with me & I was tracking his route on Google Map, but found myself helpless, since son was traveling in the cab.
I called their Call Center to complain. They gave me a single mobile number for complaints -+91-9841036666. The number was constantly engaged. After trying for 15 minutes, I got it & gave the complaint to the gentleman, who was very curt & not at all polite, to say the least; he said he will talk to the driver.
After talking to the driver, he never reverted but I tried him again. He in turn questioned me if you / your son knew the route, why you didn’t guide the driver to take him through the bye-pass? I asked him that usually drivers are aware of the short routes, does it mean if we rely on fast track driver, they will intentionally take us through a very long route? He had nothing to reply, but very curtly said, if you knew the route, you should have told to the driver(meaning else he will take you through the route of his choice).
I told him, if this is your response, we will never use Fast Track Service. He simple said, OK you don’t use.
I asked him do you have any senior person / Manager to whom I can talk, since my son has paid Rs 900 for 51 KMs instead of Rs 680 chargeable for the shortest route(38 KMs) through bye-pass road. He simple said there is no manager & ’hung the phone’.
Since I was disappointed, I tried again, but he never picked up the phone.
I finally gave up with them but decided to inform others through this channel.
