I’ve used Fastmail.fm as my backup email acct. My main acct is with Gmail (Google).Fastmail has been excellent as a free email acct. speedy, reliable, very economical (FREE) and has a layout that for web novices like myself actually does so inherent ’teaching" of what to do and not to do
With operating your own email msgs so they stay fairly secure yet easy to find.I like the clean desktop and the layout effect is free of excessive popups or ads or live chat boxes. I have very little free time in my full time work week that is scheduled based on projects not a set time of day.
Therefore I must frequently do my email checkins or writeups or reading in short snippets of time before I start my work shift or in limited minutes at the public library where I live in Seattle, WA, USA. Fastmail even protects me against phishing attempts in ads! I think I’d highly recommend it as a email service.
