I too had same experience as many have described here.
I availed a personal loan for one lakh on a very bad time in my shop. In February 2019, they caught two EMIs! I smelled the risk and managed somehow to arrange the fund and close the a/c. Trasferred 25, 000/- each from my personal sb a/c to the loan a/c. Today I personally visitted the branch and paid remaining interest and closed down the a/c. Beware! You are not given a receipt on closing your a/c! On the contrary, after paying entire amount, you need to provide a written request also to close down the a/c. Immediately after closing down the a/c, I received a mail in my inbox. Attacing them here for your information!
