I have opened a saving account in The Federal Bank after I got married in 2012. Even my entire family has account in this bank because service is really prompt and timely. As on date, I have not faced any major problem while availing service from this bank.
I carry most of my financial transactions from Federal Bank account only, whether its shopping, fund transfer, EMI payment, online bookings etc. The additional services like Debit Card Platinum have money back facilities on our regular transactions which save a lot of money. Safety measures are there to prevent from hacking, duplicate, wrong account payment and other risks for which bank regularly update us with such exercises carried out by them by keeping their procedure absolutely transparent and risk free.
Even insurance coverage facility also exists at minimal amount with facility to modify the information and nominee is hardly found in any other banks. Even, I had much information from their Customer Care Executives who delivers at their best with complete information considering the type of account you are holding. While on the other side, they will not recall you if you communicate your disinterest otherwise in most of the banks they try to keep hammering you unless you say yes to them. But there are still some issues or services for which you need to visit their bank and cannot be preceded online which is unnecessary and time consuming. Even, sometimes there is too much formality to sort out some of the dealings. It’s really a good bank to avail hassle free services.
