A month ago a merchant from Mumbai sends me a courier and the courier company was #FedEx. It was a very important gift for my friend who was leaving the college So I want to give her as a good luck gift. She was leaving in 10 days so I without wasting a time I ordered the gift and the merchant also shipped on the same day.
Now by the tracking no. it says that it will be delivered in a week, So it was on time I had 3 more days. So I waited until a week and it didnt get deliver then I track it and the delivery is extended to 10 days. So I called FedEx customer care and they said your location is out of our region in which we deal so we will deliver your package but via the third party which will take 3 more days and I told them you should have informed me before I would have to do something like changing the address. They also give me an another option that it has reached in my city you can pick it up from there and I said I although I had a home delivery So whatever I want the package I cant take the risk of waiting for 3 more days so contact the city office ask their address and guess what there office is 70 km far from my location and I cant go now because it was 4:00 pm and I will not make it before 6:00(closing hour) because I have to go through public transport which consumes lot of time and next day was holiday, also day after tomorrow is a Sunday, so I had no option but have to wait till Monday the day in which the package will delivery as per company and it was the same day my friend was leaving. The day comes when the package is delivered but on the 11th day. It was really upsetting I refuse to take the package because it was not worth anything now.
Firstly I had thought that FedEx is a big company "international" but it was really disappointing.
