I checked for the rates online and was given 600+ INR for 2 packages of 3 kgs total to be sent to Bangalore. I requested pickup on friday and was told that the person will come between 6-9PM. The courier person called and said that he will only be able to come on saturday between 3-4PM. So we wait the entire day for this person to come and he does not show up even at 5PM. When we called him, he says "dont take tension, I will come." But he cannot tell the time. He had an attitude. So basically they expect us to sit and wait till they find it convenient to come. Finally when I said I will cancel the order, the person finally came and guess what.the charges he gives is double what was said to me. I told him that it was not right, I was given a quote of 600 and he is charging me more than double now. But he simply said that there must be a miscommunication. So a miscommunication happens both online and by the customer service agent.
Very sad to see the plight of a once reputed MNC. Never again will I use Fedex services.
