I spent a whole Saturday waiting for the FedEx chap to deliver after he refused to deliver me a package on Friday morning at my home because there was missing customs paperwork. I paid through my nose for a speedy delivery and they bring the package to me and refuse to hand it over!
"I will bring it tomorrow sir", "OK" I said and wrote my phone on the box and requested him to keep me informed. Today is the second day that my package was set for delivery and returned.
With high fever and discomfort I waited for the delivery with no phone call not deliver and the usual run around from FedEx. My wife and I took turns to make sure that someone was at home to pay the duty and receive the package.
Avoid FedEx is all I can say, when you pay through your nose you expect good service. one phone call from them would have let us enjoy our Saturday. They dont care.
Update Monday evening:
The customer service promised Monday delivery never happened! Tracking package is not working!
Now they blame it on the software.
Update Tuesday evening:
They promised delivery today but as usual nothing has happened.
Update Wednesday:
Spoke to the local man, he promised to deliver if I promise to pay the duty when demanded. I told him that is what I said last Friday!
Wrote an email asking for the Bill of Entry. A young lady sent it almost immediately. Examination of the document shows that the duty amount was struck off and the page total was handwritten by a custom officer with a few items left out. The exceptions are also marked.
SO WHY DID THEY PUT A GREEN STICKER saying duty to be collected and waste almost a week in delivering. I want my 44$ charges back for harassment!
