I ordered a cake for my brothers birthday in the 8am to 12 pm morning slot. I called them around 11am but it was not out for delivery yet. As soon as I hung up the call, I got a message that it is out or delivery and on 12: 17 pm I got a message that it has been recieved by Nitika Mehra! That is me! It was a false updation!
I called them at once and they said that they will speak to the delivery team and send the product to me anyhow. I waited for a while. Then I got a call from the delivery executive and what he told me annoyed me even more!
He told me that he was not wearing a helmet and the security gaurds arent letting him in, so I should walk to the place where he is and recieve the cake. I could not go clearly because the gate is at a distance of about 1km that too return with a perishable item like cake!
I told him about my inability to come and then he said that please tell someone else to do so in your home!
I called the customer care number and told them to cancel the order. They said it would not be possible and I should tell someone to go to the delivery boy. I told them that wearing a helmet is a rule anyway and all deliveries come in our locality without an issue whether it may be from dominos, bigbasket or even local restuarants! Then they put me on hold and after that said that they are not able to contact the delivery team, but they would send the order for sure.
Finally I received my order but it was damaged and with just 2 candles! It was a frustrating and bad experience with ferns and petals! I wont use this site again and neither would recommend to anyone!
