Its been little over 6months now, and I have done approx. 7500 kms on the ODO. Please find the initial feedback on the car. My rating in a scale of 1-10 where 10 is highest.
Suspension :- 9.5 (Class Leading)
A/C :- 8
Ride Quality :- 9 (Fantastic)
Pick up in 1st gear :- 7
Pick up in 2nd and 3rd Gear :- 8
Pick up in 4th and 5th Gear :- 8.5
Breaking :- 8 (Could have been better)
Handling of the car :- 9 (Fantastic, its like a dream drive)
Dealing with bad roads :- 9.5
Stability on the highway :- 9.5
Comfort of Long Drives :- 8
Silence inside the cabin :- 7 (Well the rating will little more on Tarmac, my rating is on Concrete Road...Mum-Pune express way and noise levels are more on concrete roads)
Looks :- 8
Dealer Satisfaction post Sales : 9 (This feedback is after 2 servicing at Wasan Motors, Chembur. I recommend them surely!)
Comfort for passengers in the front seat : 9
Comfort for passengers in the rear seat : 9
Safety feeling while inside the car : 8 (could have been better had there been Airbags and ABS)
Build quality : 9 (FIAT is known for that)
Peace of mind of owning a FIAT (After 6 months) : 10
Interiors : 7 (Could have been much better)
External rear view mirrors : 6 (Could have been better)

FUEL ECOMONY : Here is the golden question for any Car buyer. Please read on for more details.
I have filled 20 times so far. 12 times from Company Owned and Company Operated (COCO) pumps and balance 8 times from Pure for Sure or Club HP outlets. Only 2 times out of this 8 occassions I have filled normal unleaded fuel. Balance 6 occassions, its been BPCL speed or Power.
a. My lowest average is 8.2 kmpl with 100% a/c on. There are only 3 occassions out of 20 refills where I have got less than 9kmpl. (This is during the first 6 refills)
b. For last 14 refills, the lowest I have got is 9.1(100% a/c) and the highest city mileage has been 10.1 (90% a/c).
c. For all the 20 refills, my overall average has been 9.53kmpl with 95% a/c on. During the last 7500kms, I have been on the highway only twice (Mum-Pune express way). The total highway driving I would have done would be approx. 400kms (Excluding hte Mumbai city highways, which are more like city roads in terms of traffic)
d. I got approx. 13 kmpl on the highway with a/c on.
- Cost of Ownership Rating : 8 ( it has been Rs. 5.50 per km. (Mostly fuel expenses), as I spent approx 1500/- during the second servicing which was towards engine oil change etc.)
If you ask me what do a I miss in this car...it will be ABS, Airbag, better interior and electrically controlled rearview mirror. But then, when you get a fully loaded car with 100 horses, DOHC engine and a kerb wight of 1.2 ton and you pay less than 6 lacs on road and you get All wheel independent suspension, Power Windows, Power Steering, Adjustable Sterring, Leather wrapped steering and gear knob, A/C, Central Locking, Fog lamps (4 of them), Bull Bar, Third tail light, defogger, rear wiper, Alloy Wheels, Imported Tubeless tyres, Roof Rails, Adjustible Seat Belts, illuminated power window switch, Full upholstry with warranty, 2 years anti corroison underbody warranty, 3 years extended warranty by paying little extra which covers almost everything and to top it all, Tata Fiat JV with 4000 crores of investment by FIAT....on second thought I guess I don’t miss anything as of now!
If you are still reading till this point, then let me tell you that, those who have gone ahead with other cars in the similar or higher price range, have definitley missed something. Those who are looking for a new car, must test drive this one. A test drive of this car may not make you buy this car, but you will definitely get a feeling of "How does a world class car looks and feels like"
