I bought a Fiat punto active diesel exactly six months earlier from Mohandas Fiat, Kazhakkoottom, Thiruvananthapuram. Have driven around 2350 kms.
My agony started just after a week I purchased the vehicle. First, the roof light went out. I had to drive upto Vazhayila service centre to check and fix the fault which they did after a few hours waiting. Then, after a few weeks, the battery drained completely, making it impossible to start the car. Had to take the vehicle to the service station second time in the first month. They filled distilled water in the battery and gave my vehicle after charging the battery.
Then after a month, the same happened again. This time, they charged Rs, 250 for attending the vehicle at home. Then again, after a month, it got drained. I demanded a replacement which they failed to execute. Instead they provided me with an old service battery which still adorns my vehicle. Scarcely two months after, last Sunday evening, when I took a U turn in the city road, the Front Right Side Drive Shaft has broken!
It is now with the Mohandas Fiat Service Centre, Vazhayila, Thiruvananthapuram and they are’trying’ to take the broken piece out from the wheel.
Since the day I purchased the vehicle, it has been giving me insults after insults. I have become a laughing stock among relatives and friends for choosing this ’China’(low quality) product! My fear now is about the engine of vehicle which would fall into the ground while driving! And, I really hope that the breaks of the vehicle would not fail me.
Any hope for refund or replacement of vehicle?
