I purchased a Fiat Punto 1.2 emotion petrol. The car model is Nov 2010, done 2500 kms. The car has many fit and finish problems, however the price and space is good. The car had o be given for a premature service as it stalled on the road and had to be towed to the dealer. The dealer kept the car for 1 month to diagnose the problem, he supposedly changed few parts which was covered under the warranty, after all this 10 kms later the car stalled again.
This time it was 11pm in the night and there was no towing service and the dealer refused help. Left the car on the road and came back the next day to find the car damaged and the mirrors broken. Towed the car again to the service center and left it there for another 3 weeks. The dealer says that he changed some more parts not under warranty and that I had to pay for it. All this for a brand new car, Fiat India was useless in helping me. Now the car is back home and I want to sell it but the resale price is very less even for a 5000 km run car. After the first service the fuel efficiency decreased and the car became harsh to drive.
Overtaking with the AC on was difficult and the car is getting nastier as lot of noise is coming from the engine and also from the cabin. The service centre is useless as the knowledge of the mechanics was poor and they could not find the exact problem. After repeated visits, the problem is yet to be rectified. The dealer Bharati automobiles knows only to make money and cheat people , there is no after sales service and no respect for customers, customers are treated like dogs that too after spending 540000 INR. The dealership is located in East Jogeshwari, Mumbai.
