I am a proud owner of Fiat Grande Punto Emotion 1.2. I bought the car in Dec 2010. It is almost 3 years and I am very happy with my decision. My experience with the car is described as follows:
Buying Experience: I bought the car from Pundit Auto, Pune. I would say my experience has been very good. The sales executive had very pleasing personality. They even offered me extra discount for Red dynamic model. Since I wanted to buy Emotion and that too tuscan wine color, I decided to let go of the offer.
About the Car: As anyone would agree that its a beautiful car. In my case it has been love at first sight. I fell in love with it first time I saw it 1 year before I made a decision to buy a car. But when I read about the customer reviews and specifications of the car my view only got reinforced. The car is very spacious from the inside. I like the sitting posture very much. Ride is very comfortable and it handles like a dream. It is packed with features only the very expensive cars has. With feature like trip meters with auto fuel efficiency calculations and instantaneous fuel consumption you can really help you to keep a tab on fuel economy and improve your driving style. It has got open door warning system with exact door indicator. It is very reliable car and never even once failed on road.
After Sales Support: Now I think thats the most important part for any auto manufacturer. I have been more than happy with the support provided by the Pandit Auto. Let me give one incidence. During the initial purchase discussions I was offered free extended warranty of 2 years free of cost. However during the delivery I was not given any documents for the same. Since it was my first purchase I was neither experienced or thoughtful of technicalities of buying a car. It was only end of my 2 year original warranty period that I realised that I should be having extended warranty in order to get support for another 2 years. I contacted Fiat to inquire about the status of my extended warranty since I was not having any documentary evidence for it. I was amazed that within 7 days I received a response from Fiat that my matter is being coordinated with Pandit Auto. Then on 10th days I received a call from Pundit auto that the extended warranty policy for my car has been received by them and I can book an appointment in case I need any repairs to be done. I was really impressed with the kind of response I got. Later I had very good experience in while dealing with Pandit Auto for repairs under extended warranty.
Overall I had a wonderful experience and certainly would like maintain a relationship with Fiat for a long time.
