The top end Emotion Pack Model of Fiat Grande Punto feature Alloy Wheels. One of my friends who has recently bought 1.3L Multijet EP Model from RD Motors Kolkata is surprised to find that the 5th and spare Wheel given as Stepnie in the Dicky is not "Alloy Wheel" rather a standard one given with low end models. As such he feels cheated after buying the Car.
On further enquiry with the Tata-Fiat Dealer, he was informed that Fiat India doesn’t give Alloy Wheel in the 5th and spare one in both its top end Model in Grande Punto and Linea!! But this was never shared with the intended Customer before the buying decisions are taken. We checked with the owner of a Maruti SX4 Zxi Model and Maruti has provided all 5 Wheels as Alloy Wheels as per the industry practice.
Nowhere in FIAT brochure and Product Specifications, it was mentioned that Spare Wheel of the topline version will not be of the same type. May I draw the attention of fellow Car Reviewer to extend their views on this issue and the recourse to be taken for an effective resolution on ’Customer Right’ on Product Delivery with suppression of facts.
