It has been 4 days I am driving my cool car. I bought a red Emotion Pack Petrol last week and am amazed with the performance of the car. It is packed with amazing features and definitely much more than a normal car. The car looks very attractive ( but that can be subjective. I wonder some people can even like the looks of Ritz. )
I would like to mention some noticeable features that I really like about this car. I would also like to mention that this is my first car, I have also posted my picture with it.
They are :
1) Blue & Me : This is one cool feature which fascinates me all the time. I was obsessed with it the first time I tested the car. The car actually talks (It has a lovely voice of a lady - We call it Rosy ). I tell Rosy whom I want to call on phone and it connects me like a human would. I would simply say "call dad". It looks for the name "dad" in my phone (I never had to save any voice tags), confirms it and connects to my dad. Now I talk to my dad while driving the car - safely with no-hands used. The voice comes from the stereo of the car; loud and clear. I speak like I normally do to a person. The voice on both ends is clear and there is no hint of echo on the other side.
2) Safety Feature warnings: This is an intelligent and safe car, It tells me whenever I forget to fasten my seat belts, it tells me when I get over a certain speed limit, it tells me when someone left a door of the car open in details ("left rear door open"- written on LCD along with beeps), it would also tell me when the petrol/battery is low.
3) Good Metal used : I researched and found out that it is the heaviest car in its class. It is heavier than Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, skoda fabia, Chevy Uva, and Jazz. It is even heavier than Honda City, Swift dZire and some others. I think it is because of its good quality metal, engine and parts. I believe you must also opt for more powerful engine to carry its weight. They say the thud of the car door assures its quality.
4) Very comfortable driving : It is a pleasure to drive this car. The suspension is good so the potholes dont feel as much. The engine is very silent so it is quite peaceful. The driver seat can be adjusted up/down, front/back, and recline; also the steering height can be adusted so it is more comfortable to sit and drive. The car has controls on the steering which make it more accessible and easier to operate without distraction.
5) One Funky Key - The car key is a foldable art-piece, fun to play with. It opens up like a rampuri knife and has central locking buttons on the key itself. The company calls it "Desmodronic remote foldable key".
6) Mp3 Player inbuilt - The stereo has inbuilt mp3 player where I can just attach a pen drive and listen to music. There are 6 speakers so the quality of sound is very good.
Now here are some suggestion which I feel can be done to enhance its value to much higher (I agree its a great value for money car already) :
1) Beige Interiors - I bought the top version and even that comes in a two tone grey / light combination. I feel it can will look richer if it had beige interiors.
2) Voice alarms instead of beep warnings. Although the existing beep alarms for seat-belt, speed, door open etc are wonderful; I think it would be amazing if the car could tell me "sir you forgot to fasten your seatbelt, please use it". The car already has voice features for connecting the calls, this enhancement can take it to next level as it gives more personal touch and interaction. It would be super-cool, much like a sci-fi movie.
I would update you about the mileage of the car after my first service.
