I was looking to upgrade from my Palio to a sedan and had two choices in mind -
A Flamenco Red Linea or A Bosa Nova White Linea.
I couldnt think of anything else apart from a Fiat product. Reason - very good experience with my earlier Palio, a solid car - have written review about my Palio earlier in mouthshut.
Finally decided on BNW colour and booked the car 2 months back. The loan processing with SBI took almost 3 weeks and finally got her delivered on August end. The romance started then.
The model is Linea Multijet(CRDI Diesel engine) Emotion variant. She comes with
ABS - One of the best brake systems
Auto Climate control - Chills like crazy
Stereo system - Basic MP3 / Radio receiver without USB feature SADLY
Driver information display(displays current/average mileage, trip details, range etc.)
Central locking with Remote(with Foldable key which Fiat calls as Desmodronic foldable key)
Hydraulic Power Steering - Extremely responsive with nice feedback unlike the Electronic ones.
She is solid, give good mileage of 20+ kmpl on the highway and 15kmpl in city driving. She is designed for long distance rides. Did Bangalore - Kanyakumari - Bangalore in 2 days and didnt feel any tiredness. Infact was sad to get out of the car. The diesel CRDI(Multijet) engine generates 93 bhp power and 209 NM torque. The car just pulls easily with or without load with or without A/C, hardly could notice any difference in the way it pulls.
The power steering is very good and gives good road feedback. Ground clearance is the only issue and need to be very careful on humps to avoid any scrapping.
Suspension is awesome.
