FIAT should be prosecuted for selling this’car’ - because it does nothing a car should. They should also be ashamed to even put this piece of junk on the market. If they can’t build cars, they should stop making them full stop.
I was loaned a 2011 model while my car was getting repaired. I was supposed to have it for 5 days - I returned if after 20 minutes. Reason? The gearbox was a load ot rubbish! It was impossible to changes gears even after pressing the clutch pedal right into the floor. I had to constantly fight to change gear which ended with a painful wrist and the smell of burnt clutch. Absolutely shocking build quality. What’s the point having all the latest gadgets and toys if the something as basic as building an efficient gearbox cannot be executed correctly?
Don’t ever buy this model. I am also led to believe that all FIAT cars are as appalling as this one so probably best to stay clear of FIAT altogether.
