I was very much interested in this car and was monitoring this car for thel ast 2 years .The price of Fiat linea Diesel is very much high keeping in mind that its 1248 cc engine the same one that is in fiat palio multijet.I am not sure whose idea is to fix this big car with a Turtle engine.I am totally impressed with the interiors and styling of the car but not with the power of the car and cc of the car.
the price of this car on road in Bangalore is 9.57 lacs for high end and 8.15 on road for the lower end .
Fiat has added lot styling and accessories but I dont know whether they will be a replacement for rock solid powerful engine
I guess with this kind of engine configuration the only customer that Fiat can look for are the one those who are planning to go for fabia diesel high end .
Had this car been above 1500 cc for sure it would have captured the market . but now for sure its testing times and fiat testing not yet over in india.
Question is why would people go for a Linea when we got Skoda on the road with 1.9 TDI engine
